The 2024 Canada Study Abroad Report released by EIC Education highlights that Canadian universities and colleges offer diverse characteristic. Universities are mainly divided into medical doctorate, comprehensive, and basic categories, each focusing on different educational goals. Colleges, on the other hand, offer career-oriented programs with a focus on job readiness.
Furthermore, Canadian colleges offer attractive paid internship programs. Students have the opportunity to gain practical experience in companies during their studies, bridging the gap between academic learning and professional practice, laying a solid foundation for their future careers.
Data from the report also reveals that in 2024, applications for master's and doctoral programs are the highest among Canadian international students, followed by undergraduate and K-12 programs. Business and economics are the most popular majors for both undergraduate and master's applications.
